- Passengers wishing to transport their pets on board Air Serbia must book tickets in advance and notify the airline of the presence of the animal.
- The pet must be healthy and have the necessary documents such as a veterinary certificate and vaccinations. The documents must be in English or translated into English and notarized.
- The animal must be placed in a special container that meets IATA standards and provides enough space for the animal and access to water and food. The container must be closed and must be labeled “Animal”.
- Transportation of animals may be prohibited in some countries depending on local rules and regulations.
- The cost of animal transportation depends on the weight of the animal and the size of the container. The cost can be clarified when booking a ticket.
- Upon boarding the plane, the animal must be handed over to the airline staff who will place it in the baggage compartment.
- During the flight, the animal is in the baggage compartment, where it may experience stress and discomfort. Therefore, it is advisable to provide it with enough water and food, as well as a comfortable place in the container.
- Upon arrival at the destination, the animal should be immediately collected by the passenger and the necessary customs and veterinary clearance procedures should be carried out.
